The “Department of Disaster Science and Climate Resilience (DSCR)” at the University of Dhaka is inviting applicants for admission to the Certificate Course on Climate Change and Public Health for the 1st Batch of the September-December 2023 session.

Course Features
The course duration will be 3 months or 13 weeks. The course will be divided in 3 parts:
- Blended Learning Sessions: 6 weeks
- Fieldwork for Project Development: 2 weeks
- Project Presentation & Assessment: 5 weeks
Classes on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays). Notes: Class schedule might be Change as per global
timing zone adjustment.

What You'll Get
Participant will receive BDT 25,000 for field activity and BDT 5,000 for travel allowance. Tuitions fees for this course BDT 50,000 will be covered by sponsors: Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Eligibility for Admission
- Professional Criteria - Climate Change and Public Health related experience.
- Education - Minimum graduate in relevant field.
- Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply for the program.
- Willingness to take part in the fieldwork.
Admission Procedure
- Prospective applicants can collect application forms and submit them to the office of the Department on working days (10.00 a.m. – 04.00 p.m.). Each form costs Tk. 1500/-
- The deadline for submission is 11 September 2023.
- Attested copies of all certificates & transcripts along with 2 passport size photos should be submitted with the application form.
- Successful candidates must enroll by 13 September 2023
- Classes of the 1st Batch will commence on 15 September 2023
